So, I have 9 days of hiking left in Maine, as my lovely parents will be slacking me south. So, I will have power and cell service most nights, which means, of course, blogging at night. It looks like I’ll be back at Springer by the first weekend of November. More details to come soon.
HOORAY! That’s a huge accomplishment.
(Also, I leave for SF on the 12th. This means I’ll get to see you before then, yes?)
I’ve waited 7 months to see this!! What a fantastic photo! I am so proud of you. Your perseverance and positive attitude is an inspiration. You will always remember this adventure and tell your grandchildren about it as they sit on your knee on the front porch rockin’ away—–I Love You and admire you. Wow, just wow!
So excited for you AND COPPER!!!! YEA!!!!
Wow! Summiting K-daddy had to be crazy exciting! What a journey; one that you’ll carry with you as a memory forever! The trail-life experiences, the people you meet, the food you eat, the stink, the pain you feel, the joy you feel–all because you DECIDED to take this journey, and MADE IT HAPPEN! You literally “walked the walk”. I’m truly, truly excited for you and proud of you. It takes so much more than most people realize to accomplish such a task. Doing so just proves you’ve got what it takes. Now you can do anything you want. Just decide and make it happen.
Wait? What happened to your legs?
